Film4 is a British digital television channel available in the United Kingdom, owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation, that screens films. We choose film 4 to distribute our film as it is a well known brand with a good Reputation.  Film 4 channels many independent and mainstream films. Film 4 was first launched on 1st November 1998. It has made huge blockbuster movies such as 12 years a Slave but it has also made small movies such as The Double. It distributes a wide variety of films.

Aspirin Pill: This is needed to represent the pill eZ which our film is based on

 

Black Hoodie: This will be used in the scene where the drug deal takes place, it will be worn by the dealer

 

iPhone: Needed to show texts between durg dealer and Zack

 

Mirror (in bathroom): for scene where Zack looks into mirror after taking eZ pill

 

Lampost (outside): Needed for drug deal scene for light

 

Green screen: To edit party scene on Adobe Premiere

Issak has been looking for various tracks which could suit our film opening for The eZ Life.

Firstly, the song 'Hell of a Night' by Schoolboy Q caught my notice due to the out of body feel which the synth gives at the beginning of the song. The lyrics are also very relevant to the film.

Next, the song 'Dancin (KRONO Remix) caught my attention due to its upbeat and lively tempo which would suit a party scene.

The music video and song 'PMW' by ASAP Rocky ft. Schoolboy Q caught my notice due to the lyrics relating to things which happens at parties.



The song '2Pac vs. Banks Thugz Drowning (Carlos Serrano Mix) caught my attention due to the high tempo and lyrics.

Technology - Have you learned new online programmes for showing off work?

I have used various online Programmes such a prezi and Premier Pro. These have various effects which improve the work. I feel comfortable on these programs and I feel as though I will improve as I know more effects. I now prefer to use these softwares as I feel as though they improve the outlay and design of my work.

What mark out of 20 is it so far?

I would give myself a mark of 15 out of 20 as I feel like I could make my blog be more appealing for the readers attention. I feel as though I need to be careful when I am typing as I constantly spell words wrong when I am typing to fast.

Where could you be a little more thorough or a little less complacent?

I think that I could be more detailed on my analysis as I feel as though I am not being so precise, however I do not want my blog to be to full of text otherwise it is not appealing to see and will seem quite boring. I try to use different software's and images in order to fulfil the analysis and to make sure that it is also fun to look through.

Is it fun to look through?

Yes I think that it is fun to look through as I have used various softwares in order to show text and various images which makes it fun to look through. It is not just full of text however I feel as though I need to make it more entertaining.

Is the learning journey evident?

Yes the learning journey is evident as now I feel as though I can analyse and give my views and opinions on a wider range of film openings. I feel more confident and on my blog I think that I understand more. I feel more confident in blogging now.
